Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 July 2026
This policy explains what personal information WrapSong collects when you create a custom song, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep third-party tracking limited: our own funnel analytics are first-party, and the only third-party advertising tool we use is the Meta (Facebook) pixel, described below, to measure and improve our ads.
Information you give us
To create your song we ask for the recipient’s first name and your relationship to them, a musical genre and voice preference, and free-text answers describing the recipient — their qualities, shared memories, and a personal message. To deliver the song and support your order we also collect your email address and phone number.
Information about someone else (sensitive third-party data)
The qualities, memories, and message you write describe another person — the song’s recipient — and can be personal or sensitive. By submitting them you confirm you have a legitimate reason to share these details with us for the purpose of creating a gift, and that you will respect the recipient’s privacy. We use this text only to generate the song; we never publish it, sell it, or use it for advertising, and we never record it in our internal analytics.
Information we collect automatically
We store one strictly-necessary, first-party cookie — a random session identifier — so the site can remember your quiz progress and connect it to your order. Using that same anonymous identifier, we record basic first-party analytics events (page views and funnel steps such as “reached the preview”) to understand where people drop off. Our first-party analytics contain no free-text answers.
We also use the Meta (Facebook) pixel and its Conversions API to measure the performance of our advertising. When you visit the site the pixel may set Meta advertising cookies (such as “_fbp” and “_fbc”) and report standard events — such as viewing a page, starting your song, beginning checkout, and completing a purchase — to Meta. For a completed purchase we additionally send Meta a hashed (irreversible) version of your email address and phone number so it can match the sale to your ad interaction. We never share your free-text answers about the recipient with Meta.
Payment card details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout and are handled by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- create, produce, and deliver your custom song;
- process your payment and provide receipts;
- send you transactional messages about your order (confirmation, delivery, revisions, refunds) by email and, where you provided a number, SMS;
- respond to support requests and, where required, prevent abuse or fraud;
- with your consent, send marketing about WrapSong — which you can stop at any time (reply STOP to texts, or use the unsubscribe link in any email);
- meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
AI processing and the services we share data with
We share the minimum information necessary with service providers who process it on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments:
- OpenAI — generates your song’s lyrics from the details you provide (which we sanitise and length-limit before sending);
- ElevenLabs — generates the song’s music and audio;
- Stripe — processes your payment;
- Klaviyo — sends our transactional email and, with your consent, marketing email and (where you provided a phone number) SMS;
- Meta (Facebook) — receives standard advertising events and, for a completed purchase, a hashed version of your email and phone number, so we can measure and optimise our ads. We never send Meta your free-text answers.
Cookies
We use one strictly-necessary first-party cookie (the session identifier described above), which persists for up to about 180 days and is required to operate the service. Separately, the Meta (Facebook) pixel may set advertising cookies (such as “_fbp” and “_fbc”) to measure our ads, as described under “Information we collect automatically.”
You can clear cookies in your browser at any time (the site will then no longer remember your quiz progress), block them with your browser settings or an ad-blocker, and control ad personalisation in your Meta account settings and through your device’s ad-tracking controls.
How long we keep your information
We keep order and song information for as long as needed to provide the service, honour our guarantee, and meet legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see “Your rights”).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in California, you may request to know or delete your information and will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address in the “Contact us” section and we will respond as required by law.
International transfers and security
Some of our providers are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there under appropriate safeguards. We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and private, short-lived signed links for any audio or files.
Children
WrapSong is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do. Questions or requests? Contact us at the address in the “Contact us” section.
